Bawa Dentistry - COVID-19 Update

Our practice will be open starting May 4.

The last several weeks have been trying times for all of us. But, the time has now come to resume some normalcy and slowly return to our once customary routines. The Governor has given the green light for dental offices and dental personnel to return to work since it is important to address dental needs as waiting could lead to deterioration of one’s oral health.

At Bawa Dentistry, we have always made infection control our top priority. Nonetheless, we have taken extra precautions during these unprecedented times to ensure your safety and provide peace of mind. Bawa Dentistry follows infection control as recommended by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). These agencies provide current rulings and/or guidance that may be issued.

When you come in for your next dental appointment, you will notice some changes and new protocols that have been implemented to protect you, other patients, and staff.

Before Your Appointment

  • One of our team members will communicate, with you prior to your appointment, by asking some screening questions pertaining to COVID-19.
  • Upon arrival at the parking lot, please call the office to notify us of your arrival. We will let you know when we are ready, for you to enter the office, for your appointment.
  • In an effort to reduce the number of guests in the reception area, at any given time, we ask that you limit extra companions to only essential people. Any additional guests, who are not essential to the appointment, must remain in the car for the duration of the appointment.

Upon Entering the Office

  • Sanitizer is available at the reception desk and it is recommended you sanitize your hands upon entering the office.
  • We will be repeating the COVID-19 screening questions.
  • A member of our team will take your temperature. Should your temperature exceed 100.4 F, or you answer yes to any of the screening questions, your appointment will be rescheduled.

We will do our best to allow more time between patients so that you do not experience unusual wait times. These measures are being taken strictly to ensure your safety and the safety of other patients and staff and in no way are meant to inconvenience you. Rest assured we also take every precaution including, but not limited to, daily temperature checks, to ensure each staff member is asymptomatic and COVID-19 free to the best of our knowledge.

We look forward to seeing you again and encourage you to reach out to us should you have any questions or concerns. Thank you for being our valued patient. We appreciate your trust and loyalty and are wholeheartedly committed to your health and safety.

Sincerely,
Bawa Dentisty Team
