Manassas Dentist Hosts A Funfilled Kids’ Day

I have so much to share with you from the previous week.

Our Kids’ Day this past Saturday was so much fun.  The kids really enjoyed themselves.  They couldn’t get enough of the games and awesome prizes.  In fact, the kids were having such a good time that parents couldn’t break them away from the activities. Martha (our dental assistant extraordinaire) and I were dressed in costume.  We dressed as rockers – a tribute to Bret Michaels (The Apprentice Winner) or at least we thought so. Look for the pictures from Kids’ Day on my next blog.

We also got a chance to meet our business neighbors at a Networking Breakfast – this too was a lot of fun.  Bobby (the other Dr. Bawa), Martha and I met a lot of interesting people who have very exciting businesses.  For instance, Samantha from Washington Business Journal and Anoop from Cruise Planners.  You know I have to mention Anoop from Cruise Planners – well he is my namesake.  I was most intrigued by Laura from Our Daily Bread which is an organization that addresses the unmet needs of Fairfax Residents.  She was holding a Canned Foods Drive.  She told me about the many ways one can volunteer.  I plan to see what more I can do and you may want to check them out as well.  I’ll also have pictures from the Breakfast on my next blog.

I cannot forget to mention that my baby Ashima was very sick last week.  So sick that I had to take her to the emergency room.  Thank goodness it was double ear infection instead of all the other horrible things going through my mind.  She’s better now.  Bobby and I had a lot of help from my mom who immediately flew down from Canada when she heard Ashima was sick.  Shout out to mom – thank you again.

Well until next time my friends.
